Airbrushing German Armor
Bolt Action is a 28mm WWII game published by Warlord Games. I believe it to be the closest thing to Warhammer 40k that the WWII crowd has ever had, in that one company publishes both rules and creates miniatures to match. The rules tend to be more abstract than a lot of historical rule sets created over the last 20 years, so the games are quick and action packed. Of course, you can bring tanks!

Tyranid Synapse and Psychic Powers
So Tyranids lost access to the BRB powers, namely Biomancy. So what did they get in exchange? I'm taking a look at their new Powers of the Hive Mind. Honestly, a few are very 'meh' while some are actually pretty good. Not Iron Arm good . . . but good.

Tyranid Haruspex Review
Continuing my series on new Tyranid Codex Reviews, the disgusting Haruspex is on deck! This nasty creature will eat most anything in its path, and if equipped with some Biomorphs, can get Strength 8 attacks that re-roll Wounds and create additional attacks. Yes, you read that correctly! How does it do that? Keep reading!
New Exocrine & Hive Crone Review
Overnight I wrote two more reviews for the new 6th edition Tyranid codex: the Tyranid Hive Crone and the new Tyranid Exocrine! The Hive Crone is not as bad as everyone says it is, and the Exocrine is basically an extreme plasma cannon tank!

Tyranid Harpy Review
It's been a bit since I've blogged, but I have been busy. First, I've written a review of the new Tyranid Harpy, covering its rules and some general tactics on the tabletop. I've been doing very well with FMCs in my Daemon army, so I thought I'd share some experiences.

New Units Review - Space Marine Codex!
I just posted Part 3 of my Space Marine Codex Review, this time focusing on the stats and tactics of the new units. If you were curious about the new Stalker and Hunter tanks, take a look! Also, I explain about Centurions and how grav-weapons work. YES, they are nasty!! Follow the link to read the article and, as always, comments are welcome!
Just a note: this is a fantastic codex. Fun to read, lots of art, and cool combinations bouncing off the unit entries. I'm still loving the White Scars, but those Iron Hands are calling me too..

Space Marine Codex Review - Parts 1 & 2
So the new Space Marine Codex is in hand and the reviews have begun! I'm really loving the Chapter Tactics and I wish that my Traitor Legions had received the same love. Future supplements may fix this, but until then, I'll look towards the Loyalist side for inspiration of what's to come.
I've written a two part review of the new Codex, with more to come as time allows this week. So far I've covered the new army rules, Chapter Tactics, and threw in some information about Special Characters. Don't believe all the hype and rumors from before. Now we have the official rules in hand! Click the link to read my New Space Marine Codex Review!
So far I'm loving the White Scars and am trying decide about buying some bikes! Or possibly painting some army-green Raptors to do a Vietnam style marine army using the Raven Guard rules. Decisions. As always, guys, comments are appreciated. Murphy Out!
